ERE emission credit calculator
Estimate your RED III income
Drag the sliders to model your monthly and annual payout. Each market is calculated with its own national scheme.
ERE units (BTV, since January 2026) - Dutch ERE units double in value when certified renewable electricity is delivered straight to the vehicle, so your green share drives the result.
kWh × 0.0036 × 183 × effective renewable factor (0.505 + 0.495 × your certified share = 0.505)
Requires MID-certified meters. 2026 EREs are registered in the REV by 1 March 2027.

Three levers behind every payout
The calculator models them together - here's what each one does.
Volume
More eligible kWh means more credits - charging points and utilisation both count.
Renewable share
For France, enter the renewable share calculated by the formula to determine credited kWh; the grid factor stays fixed at 27%. In the Netherlands, certified green supply increases the rate. Belgium and Austria use fixed rates.
Market price
